Itinerary (variant 2, 8 days):
| Day 1 | Arrival to Barnaul. 12-hrs bus trip to Tungur village. Picnic en route. Overnight in mountain base, tent camping near the bank of Katun river. You can leave extra luggage here. Russian bania. |
| Day 2 | Training trip in the neighbourhood of Tungur. Overnight in mountain base. |
| Day 3 | Riding up the Kucherla river. Camp on the bank of Kuylu river. Note: ancient rock arts on Shaman Rock en route! |
| Day 4 | Riding up the Kucherla river. Camp on the bank of Tekelushka river. |
| Day 5 | Day of rest. Riding up to the Kucherla lake. Camp on the bank of Tekelushka river. |
| Day 6 | Descent along Kucherla river to Tungur base. Russian bania. |
| Day 7 | Return to Barnaul. Hotel accommodation. |
| Day 8 | Transfer to airport or railway station. Departure from Barnaul. |

Helicopter flights from/to Gorno-Altaisk, Barnaul, Novosibirsk to/from
