Day 1 |
Arrival to
Irkutsk. Departure for 12 hour bus trip to the Orlik village. There
are 2 stops en route. The 1st is fish market on the shore of Lake
Baikal. You can try genuine smoked Baikal omul there! The 2nd
is for lunch. Camping in tents on the river near Orlik. |
Day 2 |
Preparing
for rafting (assembling of the rafts, training of the members). |
Day
3 |
Rafting down
Sayan Oka River to the junction of Zhom-Balok river. |
Day 4 |
Excursion
to the waterfall on the Bulun stream. Rafting down to the enter of
Orkho-Bom canyon. Camp near the mouth of Kharban-Khara-Gol river.

Day 5 |
Rafting through
the main obstacles en route: rapids of class III-IV. Lunch after the
"Integral" rapid. Visit to the "Tourist's Museum".

Day 6 |
Day of rest.
Trekking to the mountains. Amazing fishing. Russian bania. |
Day
7 |
Rafting down
through rapids of less difficulty (class 2-3, but the stream speed
is high) to the Zharmanbay river. |
Day 8 |
Rafting down
to the Ingnok river. |
Day 9 |
End
of rafting. Take out near the village of Verkhne-Okinsky. Bus to Irkutsk
(6 hrs trip). Hotel accommodation. |
Day 10 |
Departure
from Irkutsk. |

Transfers in Irkutsk, 1 night hotel accomodation (DBL, BB basis), meals
during rafting, all transportation to the river and return, rafting
and camping gear, guides, safety catamaran personnel.
Not included: Travel to and from Irkutsk,
visa fees, alcoholic beverages and other luxuries, personal items.
Optional
trekking: there are very interesting hot
springs on the Sentsa river, beautiful
mountain lakes and volcanic plateau with Topographov peak at the
upper part of
this river. The trekking up the Sentsa river is 5 extra days long
and is available on special demand for extra cost. Fill in this demand
in the booking form for this tour! Note: as the rule, this option
is available only if all the participants of the trip chose it.
